11th-Month Builder's Warranty Inspection
Catch construction defects while the builder is still responsible for fixing them.
Most newly built homes come with a builder's 1- or 2-year warranty. While many items are now concealed, it's not too late for defects to be found by a trained eye. Experience tells us that many major construction issues go unnoticed for 3–5 years. By then, correcting them may cost thousands of dollars, and the builder is no longer responsible because the warranty has expired.
How it works
We'll come out to your property one to two months before your builder's or home warranty expires and perform a full assessment of your home, so you can have any issues repaired before the warranty runs out.
- Structural components
- Electrical
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Interior & exterior condition
- Safety issues
You'll receive a report with photos identifying any material defects found. Submit it to your builder to hold the builder and subcontractors to their warranties before it expires.
